教学目标:
1.学习词汇:flower, photo, tea, love。
2.学习句子:What can I do for Mum? I have a good idea. I love you. Happy Mother’s Day.
3.学习儿歌,了解母亲节文化,了解如何在母亲节时向妈妈表达美好的祝愿和爱意。
教学重点:学习词汇及句子,了解母亲节文化。
教学方法:听说法,角色扮演
教学流程:
一. Pre-task preparations
1. A guessing game.(猜猜活动引入)

T: Who is the girl?
S2:She’s …(S1’s name)
T: (point to the mother)Who is she?
S3: She’s …’s mother.
(出示班上个别学生和妈妈的合影,让其他学生猜猜她是谁,吸引学生们的注意力,为下面的学习做铺垫。)
2. Free talk..(通过自由交谈的方式让学生聊聊自己的妈妈,从而引出话题Mother’s Day)
二. While-task procedures.
1. Show the calendar, point t
3、o the second Sunday of May and tell Ss it’s Mother’s Day.
T: Look at the calendar. It’s Mother’s Day. On Mother’s Day ,we give our mothers a present and tell her we love her.(出示五月的日历,告诉学生五月的第二个星期天就是母亲节。并告给学生可以在母亲节时送妈妈一些礼物,以表达对妈妈的美好祝愿和感谢。)
2. Listen and say.
1) Play the tape. Ss look at the pictur

S1:”What can I do for Mum?”(引导学生思考句意,并领读,生齐读。)

S2: “Ah! I have a good idea.”(引导学生看图理解,齐读句子。)
4) Play the tape again. Ss listen and repeat.(学生听录音,模仿跟读,体会彼得爱妈妈的情感)

三.Post-task activities.
1. Ask Ss to think : how to show your love to your Mum?(让学生们思考在即将到来的母亲节怎样向母亲祝愿,并表达自己的爱,使学生能将所学的语言运用到实际生活中去。)

S1: I can say “Happy Mother’s Day! I love you.”…
3. 出示Make and say的制作过程图,帮助学生了解制作过程,回家动手制作,并在母亲节送给妈妈。
教学反思:通过本课的学习,学生们了解了西方母亲节文化,也大多利用课余时间制作了贺卡和相框,向妈妈表达了“母亲节快乐”的美好祝愿,还有的学生帮妈妈打扫房间,做力所能及的家务活等,表达对妈妈的爱。
