定语从句

Our class is a big family, which is made up of 50 students. As is known to all, Senior 3 is a busy and tiring grade. Gone are the days when we played all the time. 一. that 与which区别

只使用that应遵循的规则：

n 先行词中既有人又有物，用that
n 先行词是everything,nothing,something,anything, all,much,little,none等不定代词，用that
n 先行词被any,some,no,much,few,little,every,all等不定代词修饰，用that
n 先行词被the very,the only,the just,the right等修饰，用that
n 先行词被形容词最高级或者序数词修饰，并且指物，用that
n 当先行词前面有who/which等疑问词，只用that
n 作表语,不管指人还是指物都用that

二.非限制性定语从句与限制性定语从句的比较
This is the house we bought last year.
The house, which we bought last month, is very nice.
He suddenly fell ill, which prevented him from going to school.
“限制性定语从句”是先行词不可缺少的定语。如果省去，主句意思不完整或不明确；“非限制性定语从句”只是附加说明。
“限制性定语从句”一般只修饰先行词；“非限制性定语从句”既可修饰先行词，也可是前面的整个句子或句子的一部分。

三. as 引导的非限制性定语从句
1.The earth is round. _______ is known to all.
2.The earth is round, _______ is known to all.
3. ____ is known to all, the earth is round.
4. ____ is known to all that the earth is round.
5. ____ is known to all is that the earth is round.
解析：as具有正如之意，与之搭配的动词一般是固定的，如：as you know/as you see/as we planned/as we expected/as we mentioned
as 与which引导定语从句都能指代整句内容，但定语从句位于句首时，只能用 as, 意为“正如、恰如”。
四. as的用法

归纳：as引导限制性定语从句先行词前常被such, the same, so 修饰，即构成such…as , the same …as, so…as, 结构.as在定语从句中应充当成分如：主语、宾语或表语。
It is the same pen as I lost yesterday.
It is the same pen that I lost yesterday.

9 嵌入式定语从句
有一种定语从句，在其从句中的主语和谓语之间有一个插入语如I think. 这一种定语从句叫做嵌入式定语从句。嵌入的分句的谓语动词常常是think, believe, guess, imagine, say, suppose等等
