Analysis of Walden
Walden is an American book written by noted transcendentalist Henry David Thoreau. The work details Thoreau's experiences over the course of two years in a cabin he built near Walden Pond , a midst woodland owned by his friend and mentor Emerson. It is part personal declaration
of independence, voyage of spiritual discovery, and manual for self reliance.
Where I Lived, and What I Lived For tells why Thoreau went to live in the woods. He went
to woods because he wished to live fully and understand essential truths. Throughout his life,he reduced his needs to the simplest level and managed to live on very little money, thus maintaining his independence.Thoreau did not intend to live as a hermit, for he received visitors regularly, and returned their visits.
He hoped to isolate himself from society to gain a more objective understanding of it. Simple living and self-sufficiency were Thoreau's other goals, and the whole project was inspired by transcendentalist philosophy. As Thoreau made clear in his book, his cabin was not in wilderness but at the edge of town. His time at Walden was his most productive as a writer。Winston Churchill was a British politician, best known as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during the World War II. He is generally regarded as one of the most important leaders in modern British and world history.
He also owns the Nobel Prize in Literature.During the World War II, since the rise of fascist forces, the European situation becomes increasingly tense.Churchill, strongly opposed the policy of appeasement which taken by Britain and France and become a hard-line leader. His speech everywhere, exposing the danger of war. Eloquence of his speech, he was recognized as the world’s outstanding speaker.Speech on Hitler's Invasion of the USSR is a statement which transit BBC by Churchill. On the international situation from a humanitarian point of view and illustrates the need for assistance to the Soviet Union and strategic ignificance. The Speech uses a large number of metaphors, rhetorical devices such as parallelism.
Thomas Eliot was a poet, dramatist, and literary critic. Among his most famous writings are the poems The Waste Land, The Hollow Man ,Ash Wednesday and Four Quartets; the plays Murder in the Cathedral, and the essay "Tradition and the Individual Talent".He received the Nobel Prize in Literature by right of The Waste Land.Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats is one of his most familiar poems.

The Naming of Cats is taken from Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats .His words are simple and easy to understand, Strong sense of rhythm, and Symmetrical structure of the sentence has a flowing sense about it. In the poem, he point that a cat must have three names, and every type of names have different meanings. The first

name is the name that family uses daily and easy to remember. The second name is the name that particular and more dignified. The third name is the name that a cat wouldn't tell you.
John Keats was one of major poets in the English Romantic movement. In his short career, he presented the most sensual poems the world has seen, among which ''Ode to a Nightingale'' ''Ode on Melancholy'' ''To Autumn'' are among the most popular poems in English literature.His letters show the struggle in the evil and suffering just like the conflict in the performance of poetry. It shows us that he was still alive bravery with diseases and poverty. Keats fall in love with Fanny, we know it was doomed no result from the start. In this love letters，He tried to convince her that he loved her how great, and he tried to putting forward to try to persuade her accept his point of view and waiting for him to prove his love. Flatter her with strong feelings，impressed her through serious, dramatic tone and emotional language。Read his poetry and letters, people are bound to regret his early death.
