discrepancies are the most common and special attention should be paid to avoid them:(1)Document not presented in full set as requested.(2)The type of B/L must be correct.(3)Not endorsed“on board”when so required,“on board”not signed and dated or dated after the latest shipment date on credit.(4)Cargo description must be as specified in credit.(5)Failure to indicate if freight prepaid or freight negotiating bank in turn collects the payment from the paying banks exchanges the foreign exchange collected for local currency,and pays the local currency amount to exporter according to the foreign exchange settlement agreement between the exporter and the bank.The paying bank will examine the documents according to the L/C,and decide whether or not he will make the payment or acceptance against it.If the bank confirms that the documents are correct,he will send them to the importer for further examination.After the importer acknowledges the documents integrity the bank will make the payment according to the clauses of L/C.When some unconformity is found,the bank will discuss with the importer.If the importer accepts the unconformity,he can instruct the bank to make payment or
