5、orld. One of the most popular contests (竞赛) is held every 4th of July on Coney Island in New York. Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest started in 1916 and the event has been dominated (占据优势) by Takeru Kobayashi. The Japanese competitor set his first record in 2001, when he ate 50 hot dogs in 12 min
