EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR UNIVERSITY TEACHER

聘方: engaging party

受聘方: engaged party

理工大学（聘方）聘用 （受聘方）为化学科目任课老师, 双方本着友好合作精神特签署本协议, 其条款以下:
Polytechnic university (engaging party) shall engage Mr. (engaged party) as a teacher of subject of chemistry. The two parties, in the spirit of friendship and cooperation hereby sign the Contract subject to the following terms and conditions :

一、              聘期 THE TERM OF SERVICE
1．聘期为____年, 自 起, 至 止。
The term of service is year beginning on, and ending on.

二、 受聘方工作任务 WORK OF ENGAGED APARTY
受聘方工作任务, 经双方协商确定为:
The work of engaged party is decided through mutual consultation as follows :

1、 担任化学科目教学工作, 指导学生开展化学科目课外活动;
Conducting Chemistry teaching and advising students on extracurricular activities of Chemistry .

2、 编写化学科目教导教材和补充读物;
Compiling Chemistry tutorship books and supplementary teaching materials;

3、 每七天讲课8－10课时。Having 8 to 10 teaching periods a week.

三、 受聘方工资和福利 PAYMENT AND WELFARE
1．受聘方工作时间每七天五天, 天天七小时。受聘方根据政府要求节假日放假, 寒暑假按本校校历要求。
Engaged party works five days a week and seven hours a day. The engaged party will have legal holidays as prescribed by rulls of state. The summer and winter vacations are fixed by the school calendar.

2．受聘方每个月工资五仟圆（5, 000）人民币, 并享受本校老师多种福利待遇。
2. The engaging party pays the engaged party a monthly salary of five thousand (5, 000) Yuan (RMB) and provides him with various walfares as prescribed by this university.

四、 受聘方职责 RESPONSIBILITIES EMPLOYEE
1、 遵守《宪法》、 《教育法》、 《老师法》等法律、 法规, 认真推行老师义务。
Abide by the Constitution, Education Law, Engaged partyLaw, and other related rules and regulations issued by the Chinese government. Conscientiously fulfill the engaged party’s responsibilities specified by the School of International Education.

2、 教书育人并重, 严格管理讲课班级教学秩序, 主动建设优良学习风气, 立刻向学院主管部门提出对学生操行表彰与处罚意见。
Both teach and educate students with strict classroom management and provide a quality learning environment to ensure that students can both improve their academic knowledge and grow to become quality citizens. The engaged party needs to bring forth the suggestion to the school administration for the recognition or punishment of any student if required,

3、 认真备课, 合理安排教学, 并于开课2周内向学院提交教学计划。教案和教学提要自备、 备查。
Be fully prepared for lessons and have each of the teaching tasks well organized. The class syllabus must be printed and submitted to the Teaching and Academic Services Office within two weeks of course commencement.

4、 按时上课, 不迟到, 不早退。不找她人代课和随意调课。因故误课, 最少提前一周通知学院, 且事后安排补课。
Engaged partyare to be punctual to class. The switching of lessons or substitution of engaged partywithout permission is not allowed. The school needs to be notified at least one week in advance for any absence for any reason. A request form will be filled in and a make-up class will be required.

5、 依据本项目专业教学标准、 规律和教学计划组织教学, 教学目明确, 使用教学方法适当, 评价手段合理。注意充足调动学生主动性, 提升教学效果, 接收学院对教学监督检验。
Each lesson is to be delivered based on the subject guidelines and course syllabus. The engaged party is to have a thorough understanding of his teaching objectives, use the proper means to implement the content area of the subject taught, assess students in a way that is right and fair and constantly motivate students to learn. He also needs to work under the supervision and inspection of the school’s overseas partners and executive panel.

6、 精心选择和组织教学材料, 全部使用书籍和音响资料要有利于学生正确价值观和行为方法培养。
It is the responsibility of the engaged party to carefully select and organize appropriate teaching materials. All the textbooks and audio-visual resources chosen should not only help improve the students’ understanding of the subject matter, but also help cultivate their values and behavior.

7、 有计划、 定时合理地部署作业, 认真批改和讲评, 除特殊项目特殊专业要求外, 每学期要有期中和期末考试, 实现教学目标, 学生成绩通知学生本人以尊重学生隐私。
Students are to be given assignments and written work on a regular basis. Engaged partyare to correct and evaluate students’ work in a reasonable and fair manner. Mid-term and final exanimations are to be given each semester to test if students have achieved course objectives. Exam results and term grades should be kept and each student should be informed of his score individually for privacy protection purpose.

8、 按项目具体要求, 进行学生学业评价。制订合理评价标准。评价方法要能科学表现学生学习过程和结果, 严格每个程序操作。有合作方项目专业要立刻催索和呈送合作方要求文本资料。配合学院做好各项内、 外审工作。
Engaged partyare to set reasonable criteria that help reveal both students’ learning process and outcome following the program’s quality assurance requirements.

9、 安排答疑时间和方法, 耐心解答学生问题, 认真定时听取、 搜集学生对教学工作意见和提议, 不停改善教学方法方法。
Engaged partyshould be willing to offer time and assistance to students experiencing difficulties in learning. Office hours should be arranged to talk with students. It is expected that engaged partyare to be open to listen to students’ opinions and suggestions, especially when regarding how to improve their teaching.

10、 按要求保留学生原始学习档案, 包含作业统计、 考试成绩、 文字评语等, 并于每学期期末交学院立案。
Each student’s personal files, which include assignments, examination results, written comments and evaluations, should be recorded and archived. At the end of the semester, these records should be submitted to the school administration.

五、 受聘方严重违约处理 SERIOUS BREACH OF ENGAGED PARTY
受聘方有下列情形之一者属于严重违约, 学校可给予解聘。
3、 不认真备课, 对教材不熟悉, 无讲课计划或不按讲课计划讲课, 经劝说仍无改善者。
Being unfamiliar with the content area which is taught, not having a lesson plan or do not follow the subject syllabus while conducting teaching．

4、 常常迟到、 早退, 一学期达十次以上者。
Being persistently late for class or dismissing class early, amounting to ten times in a period of one semester．
5、 无故缺课、 误课, 不能按时完成讲课任务者。
Being absent in class without good reason and/or failing to accomplish teaching objectives on schedule.
6、 除特殊原因, 未能根据要求立刻催要、 呈送学生试卷与成绩, 造成严重后果者。
7、 教学效果极差, 对学生不负责任, 缺乏耐心, 对学生合理意见提议充耳不闻, 任课班级学生投诉三次以上者。
Having a lack of responsibility or patience in the course of instruction, turning a deaf ear to students’voices regarding teaching; Receiving more than three student complaints in one class in a period of one semester．

8、 对学生不尊重, 伤害学生自尊心、 侵害学生声誉权、 人格权等权利, 造成恶劣影响者。
Not showing respect to students, hurting students' feelings, violating students' personal rights, and injuring students' self-esteem.

9、 利用学校课堂, 有意丑化学校学院声誉者。
Taking advantage of classroom instruction or damaging the school's image and reputation intentionally.

10、 受聘方有第二条所列情况且情节严重者, 学院除给予解聘之外, 还能够依据情节及影响, 降低其工资标准或者降低其酬劳。
Any employee who commits any violation of provision 2 and fails to correct the deficiencies after they are pointed out must be dismissed. In addition to the actions taken he/she may be fined or incur other financial penalties based on the consequences of the infraction.

11、 若被解聘老师严重伤害学生、 侵犯学院声誉、 造成学院重大损失, 学校保留依法要求其停止侵害、 恢复声誉、 赔礼道歉和赔偿损失权利。
If the dismissed engaged party severely hurts the student's feelings, ruins the school's reputation, and causes a heavy loss to the school, SIE can demand the termination of the violation, restoration of credit, apology and return of losses in accordance with the legal provision concerned.

六、 其她约定 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
本协议自受聘方到校之日起生效, 到聘期届满时失效。如一方要求延长聘期, 必需在协议期满前一个月书面向对方提出, 经双方协商同意后另签延聘协议。
This Contract comes into effect on the first day of the engaged party's arrival at the Beijing University and ceases to be effective at its expiration.If either party wishes to renew the Contract, the other party shall be notified in writing one month before it expires. Upon agreement by both parties through consultation , a new contract may be signed between two parties.

聘方 受聘方
