4.would rather:为情态动词,宁愿
1)would rather do sth:宁愿做某事
2)would rather not do sth:宁愿不做某事
3)would rather do sth than +名词/代词/副词/介词短语/不带to的不定式
4)would rather+ that从句的谓语动词用虚拟语气,即用过去时表示现在的动作,用过去完成时表示过去的动作
翻译:1)我宁愿不对他讲实情.
I would rather not tell him the truth.
2)我愿意踢足球而不愿意打篮球.
I would rather play football than basketball.
3)我宁愿你去月球.
I would rather that you went to the moon.
4)我真希望你昨天在那儿.
I would rather that you had been there yesterday.

1. hide 隐藏, 掩盖

7. wander 漫步,闲逛
