What's your hobby ?教学设计
教材分析:
本节课是《陕旅版小学英语》第六册Lesson 11第一课时的教学内容。本课的话题是谈论爱好,学习用句型What's your /his/her hobby? …is my hobby. I like +v-ing.来谈论彼此的业余爱好,学习并巩固一些动词、动名词的用法,同时增进学生之间的感情。
Teaching targets:
Language knowledge targets:
1.掌握以下动词短语:do some reading, collect stamps, do sports, play computer games.
2.熟练掌握句型: What's your hobby ? I like v-ing …
3.完成课后Let’s practice(II).
Language skill targets:通过小组合作交流自己的爱好,并在班级内讨论彼此喜欢做的事情。
Emotion targets:通过课堂上的语言交流,增进学生之间的了解,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
Key points and difficulty points:
1.动词短语的掌握及熟练运用。
2.熟练使用What's your hobby? I like …来谈论彼此喜欢做的事情,能正确运用动词和动名词。
Teaching preparations: pictures, PPT课件,CAI等。
Teaching steps:
Step 1 Warming up and revision
1.Greeting
(设计意图:师生相互打招呼,拉近距离。)
2.Sing a song 《Old Macdonald 歌曲》
(设计意图:歌曲热身,将学生的注意力拉回英语课堂,给整节课营造舒适轻松的气氛,同时复习上节课所学歌曲。)
3.Review some phrases. PPT呈现所有学过的关于爱好的图片,学生读一遍,增强记忆。
(设计意图:PPT 由快到慢呈现以前课本中所出现关于各类活动的词汇,帮助学生复习,为本节课做铺垫。)
Step 2 Presentation
1. Lead in
T:(做动作)I like reading. What do you like?
Ss: I like ....
T: This class, let's talk about "Hobby".引出本课的课题。
2.T ask Ss, who can remember what do I like? 学生抢答。老师紧接着又问, I like reading. What about you ? What's your hobby? 老师挨个提问,其中可以问第三个人What's his/her hobby?
(设计意图:本节课是一节关于爱好的讨论课程,老师巧妙提问第三个人将what's his/her hobby?引出。)
3.引出本课新单词
(1)PPT呈现两个人读书的图片,老师可以提问What are they doing?引出新词组 do some reading.
(2)PPT呈现邮票的图片,T ask: What's this? 老师可以帮助学生说出stamps. T say: If you like all kinds of stamps, you can collect them, so …引出"collect stamps".
(3)PPT呈现一位体育老师的照片,老师让学生猜What's his hobby?引出"do sports".
(4)PPT呈现玩电脑游戏的图片,引出"play computer games".
(设计意图:遵循词不离句的原则,精心设计问题,把生词放在具体的图片和语言中让学生充分感知,让学生加深理解。)
4.Show the pictures and talk about them, teach the new phrases and words.
Step 3 Practice
1.Ask and answer ( T ask, Ss answer)
(设计意图:老师再进一步对What's your hobby? 进行提问,为下面的小组讨论做铺垫。)
2.Group talk (If you have same hobby with the other's students, you can sit together and then talk about why you like it)
(设计意图:英语的学习意在语言的学习,通过上一步的提问学生能够知道别人的爱好,老师讲具有相同爱好的人坐在一起展开讨论,既呈现了语言的运用,又体现小组合作。)
Step 4 Consolidation
1.Read the test, and tick right or wrong.(P54)
2.Check the answers.
(设计意图:在本节课的基础上学生自行阅读,独立完成练习,也是对知识的一个检测。)
Step 5 Summary
1. Sum up the main points of the lesson.
What's your hobby? I like v-ing___.
What's his/her hobby? He/She likes v-ing___.
2.Say the chant.(利用两只老虎的歌调把本课新句型和新词语编成歌谣)
Step 6 Homework
Do a survey.(调查你身边同学的爱好,并做好记录)
