Do some exercise to consolidate the grammar of this unit. 教学重点 1. Learn and remember some new words and phrases. 2. How to improve the students’ listening skills and spoken English. 3. The students can use correctly use the prepositions in, on and under. And they can correctly use the where questions. 教学难点 1. How to improve the students’ listening skills and spoken English. 2. The students can use correctly use the prepositions in, on and under. And they can correctly use the where questions. 教具准备 Tape record, ppt 预习提示 先学后教 当堂训练 个人复备 Step 1 Revision. Review the words in P19—1a Step 2 Presentation Listening.2a---2b Firstly, let the students work in pairs to ask and answer questions about the pictures in 2a like the followings: A: What’s this in English? B: It’s a… A: What are these in English? B: They’re … Then play the tape for the first time for the students listen and number the things. Check answers. Step 5 Exercise 先学后教 当堂训练 个人复备 2b Listen again. Find the things from 2a and number them in the picture. Check answers. Step 3. Pairwork 2C Listen and read after the tape about 2b. Then make your own conversations using the things in 2b. Follow the example. e.g. A: Are the keys on the sofa? B: No, they aren’t. They are on the table. Ask some students to perform the conversations. Let the students pay attention to the use of it and they. Step 4 2d Role-play the conversation Firstly, let the students listen to the conversation and answer the following questions: 1. Where is Jack’s bag? 2. Where is the map? 3. Where is his hat? Then let the students read the conversation and check if their answers are right. Third, role-play the conversation and then recite it. Step 5. Exercise 3a, 3b 3a let the students finish the exercise by themselves and then ask three students to write their answers on the blackboard to check answers. Then let them read the three dialogues loudly. 3b Work in pairs to make new dialogues about the things in the students’ book, ask three pairs to perform their dialogues and let the students write their dialogues on their exercises book as homework. Step6. Game. Student A ,Look at the picture on page 19. Student B, Look at the picture on the right. Ask and answer questions to find the differences. 板书设计 Unit4 Where is my schoolbag?
