Lesson 33 Let’s go to the zoo!

Teaching procedures:
Step1. Warming up
1. Greeting each other.
2. Ask and answer questions.
Eg. What animals do you like ?
Step2. presentation
Show the pictures and introduce the words: zoo, lion, tiger, elephant and monkey. Then write them on the blackboard, students read after teacher.
Step3. Listening
Let students listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.
Step4. Reading
Let students read the text in roles.
Step5. Language points
Step6. Practice
Discuss: What animals can you see in the zoo?
Then look at the pictures again “What’s this?
What’s it doing? What’s it eating?
