一、教学目标
1、知识目标
（1）通过复习，能够听、说、读、写有关season , weather , activities的四会词和句型，学生能对自己最喜欢的季节及原因进行谈论。
（2）通过复习，学生能够阅读相关短文，并能根据短文信息完成阅读任务。
2、能力目标
（1）能运用句型就自己喜欢的季节进行对话，如：Which season do you like best ? Summer ……Why do you like ……？Because I can …… What’s the weather like in spring ? It is ……
（2）能根据图意或情景提示，灵活运用重点词语和句型描述季节特征。
3、情感目标
通过小组竞赛、情景欣赏、小组讨论总结等活动，让学生充分了解季节美，培养学生热爱大自然，热爱四季，热爱祖国的思想情操。
二、教学内容
1、词汇： （1）四季：season ，spring ，summer ，fall/autumn ,winter 。
（2）天气：rainy ，windy，cloudy , sunny , snowy , warm , hot ,cool , cold .
（3）相关动词短语：swim , plant trees, make a snowman , play with snow , fly kites , go hiking , play football , skate 。
（注：黑体词为四会词）
2、 句型：（1）A：Which season do you like best ?/What’s your favourite season ?
B：I likespring /summer /fall /winter best . /My favourite season is …
（2）A：What’s the weather like in spring ?
B：It’s rainy , windy and warm .
（3）A：Why do you like spring?
B：Because I can fly a kite .
三、教学重点：（1）有关季节，天气，活动等词汇和句型。
（2）运用有关句型询问别人喜欢的季节特征或对自己喜欢的季节进行描述。
（3）阅读相关短文，学会获取短文信息的方法。
四、教学难点：灵活运用有关句型恰当描述四季。
五、教学准备： 单词卡片，课件
六、教学过程：
课前准备：T: Let’s listen and sing a song.
播放What is your favourite season ?（师生） ---为复习导入做好铺垫。
（一）Warm up
1、Free talk ：T：Good morning ,boys and girls ! What day is it today ? What’s the weather like today ?
2、课件呈现春夏秋冬图片，逐一呈现，学生看图片后，T：What season is it ? Ss：It’s spring .复习season ,spring ,summer ,fall ,winter.（点击任一课件，图片出现，学生快速说出季节名称后，才跳出相应单词。）
3、按季节把学生分成四组：Good, now you are spring group ; you are summer group ; you are fall group ; you are winter group. (设计意图： 利用歌曲预热，让学生在愉悦的心情下感悟出这节课的复习重点，唤起学生对所复习知识的记忆，并按季节分小组，激发学生的热情，为复习打好铺垫。)
（二）Presentation and practice .
1、Lead in ：Amy is my friend . She is from Canada . 课件呈现加拿大图片，学生看图片，猜猜分别是什么季节的加拿大。把同学们带入美丽的情境中。---情境学习
2、Review the weather of seasons.
（1）艾米的家乡很美，现在是春天，如果我们要去那里旅游，我们应该先了解当地的天气情况哦。问：What’ s the weather like in Canada in spring ?（板书） Guess. T：Is it rainy /windy /warm？依次出示图片。 Yes , it is rainy , windy and warm in spring . 以同样方法复习(summer ： hot ，cloudy；fall ：cool, sunny ; winter : cold , snowy .
（设计意图：通过图片和板书将四季特点清晰地呈现在学生面前，让学生把季节与天气联系起来学习）
（2）整体呈现表示天气的词汇，学生齐读，观察这几个标注红色的单词有什么特点，你如何快速把他们记下来。
3、Review the activities of seasons
(1) T：.I like spring best , Because I can go hiking . 课件呈现“go hiking ”图片
(2) Which season do you like best ? Why do you like it ? What can you do in winter?
（3）（课件出示图片）swim; plant trees ; make a snowman ; play with snow ; fly a kites ; go hiking ; play football ; skate .学生一面看课件，一面说出动词词组，教师再点击，跳出单词，生读。
（4）教师先与一学生以一季节为示范进行对话：
T：Which season do you like best ?
Ss：I like spring best .
T：Why do you like spring ?
Ss: Because I can fly a kite.（板书）
（5）同桌互相对话。
（6）抽查两个小组进行展示。
（设计意图：让学生运用相关的词组谈论所喜欢季节，充分发挥学生想象力，培养学生综合运用的能力）
（三）阅读理解
（过渡语：今天我收到了艾米从加拿大发来的一封邮件，请大家读一读，看看她在邮件中提到了什么？然后试着做后面的练习哦。）

Dear Miss Lu ,
It is spring in my hometown now. People can plant trees here. But I don’t like spring . Because it’s always rainy . I like summer best . Summer is sunny and hot , so I can swim in the sea and eat ice-cream . I like fall too . Because the weather in fall is cool and windy , and I can fly kites . My brother likes winter best . Because he can skate and play with snow . But I don’t like winter .The weather is too cold for me .What about the season in China ? Can you tell me?
