There is a mirror,a bed and a big closet. 2 2. 读懂短文内容,并能根据课文内容完成课后练习。 3. 培养学生爱家的美德。 教学重点:本课的教学重点是使学生熟练掌握There be 句型的简单表达法,掌握四会句子的正确书写。 教学难点:难点在于帮助学生区分使用There is 和There are 的表达法 Step1: Warm-up 1. T: I’m a big rabbit, you’re baby rabbit. I say baby rabbit, you say cool.” 2. Do and say; Go to the dining-room, jump,jump, jump.Go to the kitchen, jump,jump, jump. Go to the study, jump,jump, jump. Go to my room, jump,jump, jump Step2: Presentation 1. Show a picture of the rabbit’s family, and talk with students: (1) How many rabbits are there in the family? (2) Who are they? 2. T: We have a new flat. (1)呈现图片,教学flat。 (2)Demonstrate with PPT: A rabbit jumps to the third floor. And tells students the flat is on the third floor. (3)Watch the video of the new flat. Step 3: Reading 1.Read Paragraph 2 (1)Fast reading, then find our: How many rooms are there? What are they? (2)Explain how to use “there be” appropriately. ①show the sentence and let Ss read together: there are two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room. ②We can say the sentences in another way: There is a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and two bedrooms. ③Show learning tips. ④Practice. Complete the sentences. There ___ a big rabbit and many baby rabbits today. There ___ many baby rabbits and a big rabbit today. (3)Show a picture of one bedroom. ①Let Ss look at the picture and say what they can see in the room. ②Prediction. What other things are there in the room? (4)Read paragraph 2 again and circle “What’s in the room?” Then teaches new words: mirror, closet, end tables, curtain (5)Match the words and descriptions. mirror We have a sleep in it. closet They are near the bed. end tables You can look at yourself in it. curtain There are some clothes in it. bed We use it to send e-mails. computer They hang across the windows. There are curtains. There are end tables and curtains in my home. 2.Read the whole passage. (1)Listen and repeat the whole passage. (2)Show fishbone to help students retell the whole passage. ①Ask questions about the flat. ②Let Ss introduce the flat according to the fishbone. Who? What room? Which floor? What’s in the bedroom? Step4: Extension 1.We have a lot of fun. What can we do in the flat? 2. Choose one house they like, and tell others the reason. (1)Show two kinds of houses. Divide class into two parts. Let Ss make a choice. Which house do they like better? (2)Discuss in group work: Prepare the introduction of the house they like when they discuss, the teacher gives them more information. (3)Show the introduction to the class. Step5 :Ending 1.Show a video of teacher’s dream house. 情感沟通; Home is where you feel safe. Home is where you feel beloved. Home is where you enjoy life.
