I’ll speak to him ______ he arrives. B.______ I arrived , he was talking on the phone. C.______ I got there, he had already left. *从句也可接延续动词,这时从句往往用过去进行时表示某一段时间内发生的动作。(在---期间) Eg .The doorbell rang when I was telephoning. when的常见的三个句型: A.be about to do sth when--- I was about to go out when someone came. 翻译:__________________________ B. was/were doing sth when--- I was doing my homework when my good friend, Xiaoming, came.翻译:______________ C. had done sth when--- I had finished my homework when my good friend, Xiaoming, came.翻译:____________ D.I was walking along the road suddenly someone patted me on the shoulder from behind. A. immediately B. when C.the moment D.while 2.While+延续性动词: “在---期间”,表示某一时间内发生的动作。 Eg:______I was reading, he came in. 3.As+延续性动词/非延续性动词:“一边…一边…,随着”。 4.Until/till: 1)主句谓语动词是______,通常用_____形式。例如: A.I will stay here till the rain stops. B.Until I came back ,he was waiting for me at my home.. 2)若主句谓语动词是______,则要用____形式。即:__________(直到---才---)。 A. I did not realize how special my mother was until I became an adult. B. One will _____ realize how much and how little he knows _____ he starts talking. *till 不可以置于句首,而until可以置于句首。 _____you told me I had no idea of it. *如果将“not until...”结构放在句首,那么主句要部分倒装。 Not until we pointed out their fault to them ____they realize it. 5.表示“一---就---”: 1)as soon as , the moment, the minute, the instant, the second, immediately, directly, instantly.这些连词的用法和句式结构是一样的。 A.We will leave as soon as it stops raining.
