教学目标
1、 能力目标
(1)、单词：12个月份的名称(听、说、认读)及其简写形式(听、说读写)。
(2)、能够听、说、认读20以内的序数词以及1—20的简写形式。
(3)、能够掌握日期的表达方法并能说出生日、节日的具体日期，如：
When is your birthday? It’s May 1st.
When is National Day? It’s October 1st.
2、情感目标
引导学生了解中西方主要节日及其文化背景。
教学重难点
1.教学重点是序数词的听、说、认读以及具体日期的表达法
2.难点是不规则序数词的认读。
教具准备
教师准备教学过程中所需要的单词卡、声音和课件
教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
教师出示课件，并提问T：“Can you tell me what’s this?”
Ss:“This is a birthday cake.”
T：“You are right. Today is my birthday. Can you sing a song<Happy birthday>
to me together? ”
师生共唱生日歌并吹蜡烛，T：“Let’s blow out the candles together. ”
（设计意图：通过吟唱生日歌调节学生的情绪，活跃课堂气氛，使学生的思维快速集中到课堂上。）
Step 2 Revision
活动一
教师出示卡片且发给学生们，T：“My birthday is in….，When is your birthday?Answer my question with your cards. ”
Ss:“My birthday is in…”(板书句型)
教师课件出示12个月的英文及缩写，一起认读。T：“Let’s read these words”
T：“How many month are there in a year? ”
Ss:“There are 12 months in a year.
T：“I like March best. Because I can plant trees. Which month do you like best? Why? ”
教师出示序数词卡片并发给学生“Today I’m first, who is second, show us your card and read it one by one. ”
（设计意图：教师提出问题，引导学生思考，不仅复习了旧知，同时明确了学习任务。）
活动二
教师出示明星图片的课件，提问：“Who is he\she?”
Ss:“He\She is …. ”
T：“When is YaoMing’s \LiuXiang’s birthday? ”
Ss:“His\Her birthday is on ….. ”（板书）
（设计意图：教师提出问题，学生用句型回答，拓展句型His\Her birthday is on …..）
Step 3 Game
教师出示课件，“Listen and guess:What's the date?”播放课件，让学生带着任务
去听音乐，教师提问“When is New Year’s Day？\When is Teacher’s Day\...？”
学生回答：“It’s January 1st .\It’s September 10th\....”
教师出示中西方节日的课件并提问，学生回答。
（设计意图：教师提出问题，学生听音乐回答，有利于调动学生的学习兴趣，
有助于集中注意力，提高听说效率。）
Step 4：Production
教师出示课件，“This is my personal calendar”.(板书personal calendar，并翻译)
T：“I like May best, because my son’s birthday is in May. And May 1st is Labour Day. ”
T：“Now make your personal calendar by yourselves and write down the reason :why do you like ….? I will give you five minutes.”
学生自己动手做私人日历。
T：“Time’s up. Show us your personal calendar and answer my questions.Who can?Hands up. ”
学生展示自己的日历，并说说理由。
（设计意图：让学生在玩中学，学中玩，寓教于乐。让学生能把所学内容联系到实际，又提高了动手能力。）
Step 5 Homework
出示课件，为父母制作一张生日卡片并写上祝福。
（设计意图：在教学过程中渗透情感教育，让学生学会感恩父母，感恩老师）
