The paper-cuts of the wolf, the bee and Lulu, some pictures showing some dangerous situations, PPT
Teaching procedures:
Step1 Warm-up
T: OK.. Are you ready?
S: Yes.
T: Now class begins.
M: Stand up, please.
T: Good morning, everyone.
S: Good morning, Louise.
T: Today there are so many friends in our class. Let’s welcome them,OK?
S: OK. Good morning, everyone.
T: Well, sit down ,please. How are you today?
S: I am fine, thank you, and you?
T; I am fine, too.What’s the weather like today?
S: It’s sunny.
T: Right, it’s sunny. So are you hot?
S: No/Yes, I am (not) hot.
T: Are you cold?

T: Are you happy?

Step 2. Theme Activity (telling a story)
T: Now listen the story carefully: What’s wrong with Lulu?
He is Lulu. He lives in a big forest. He has no friend. So he is very lonely and sad.
One day there flies a pigeon and many bees. They want to make friends with Lulu. Then Lulu, pigeon and bees become good friends.
Now Lulu lives in a pink house with pigeon. There are many flowers and trees around the house. And Lulu is watering the flowers. He is so happy,
But one day a big wolf comes here and walks toward Lulu’s pink house. His mouth is watering. Lulu is very scared and surprised.
Then Lulu asks his friend bee for help.
“Hi little bee, could you do me a favor?”
“Yes.”
“ The wolf wants to eat me. Can you help me?”
Then the bee nods his head and flies away to ask for help.
Later, more and more bees fly back and sting the wolf on the nose. The wolf is very angry and scared, then he cries: “No, no. Help!
At last, the wolf runs away. Lulu is helped out.
Step 3. Exploration Activity
T: Do you like the story?
S: Yes.
T: So are you happy?
S: No/Yes.
T: Oh, some students are happy. Maybe because the story is interesting.
T: But some students are not happy. Maybe because the wolf wants to eat Lulu, then you are not happy, right?
S: Yes.
T: Oh, I’m not happy either. Now Lulu is in danger. The wolf wants to eat Lulu. So Lulu is very…
(the teacher shows different kinds of feelings)
OK, please look. Is Lulu happy?
S: No.
T: Right, Lulu is not happy. Is Lulu angry?
S: No.
T: Yes, Lulu is not angry. Is Lulu lonely?
S: No,
T: Right. Lulu is not lonely. Because he has many friends. Is Lulu sad?
S: No.
