◆Step 1　Leading
1.Show some pictures and let students have a discussion:What rules are there in your home?(见课件)
2.Students show their home rules.At the same time they show their likes and dislikes.
3.Other students give some advice.
◆Step 2　Reading
1.Teacher asks:What rules are there in Zhao Pei’s home?
2.Teacher asks students to read the passage in 3a and fill in the blanks.
3.Check the answers:Can,must,have to,have to,can’t,must,can’t,must,can
◆Step 3　Writing
1.Complete the chart in 3b with the rules in your home and school.
2.Put an×for the rules you think unfair.
3.Ask one student to give a report about the rules in front of the class.
4.Ask each student to write a letter to Dr.Know.Tell him about all the rules and how they feel about them (3c).

1.Ask students to read the passage and fill in the blanks with the words in the box.
