It's evening.
The sun goes to sleep in the sea,and the sky up there is dark and bare.
Here comes Dorothy.
She has a big bag.
And in her bag she has a lot of dreams!

In her bag Dorothy has dreams for mummies and daddies.
She has dreams for boys and girls.
She has dreams for cats and dogs.
She has dreams for animals big and small...
She has dreams for all!

Dorothy has the right dream for everyone.
She has a toy mouse for Kitty,the cat in the kitchen.
She has a big bone for Bongo,the dog on the stairs.
She has a magic bike for Billie.
She has a big box of chocolates for Charlie.
What wonderfull dreams!

Now the sky up there isn't dark and bare.
Dorothy is there!
Now the moon smiles and the stars twinkle.
Dorothy sings.
She's happy!
The sky is happy!

Twinkle,twinkle,twinkle,stars!
Yor are lovely,yes you are!
Up above the world so high,you are diamonds in the sky!

But big,dark clouds come.
They come fast.
They come very fast!
They cover the moon.
They cover the stars.
They cover Dorothy and her bag of dreams.

It's dark now.
It's very,very dark.
Where is the moon?
Where is the stars?
The sky is sad.
Dorothy takes the wrong dreams out of her bag.

Oh no! It's dark now!
It's very,very dark!

Dorothy takes out a magic bike for the big white whale.
Dorothy takes out a big bone for the small red fish.
What terrible dreams!

Dorothy takes out a box of mosquitoes for Billie.

The cats on the roofs sing a special song:

The cats sing and sing.
It's a special song,and the clouds go away.
The moon smiles.
The stars twinkle.

The sky is happy.
Dorothy is happy.
She smiles.
She takes the right dreams out of her bag!

Dorothy sings:
Dreams for mummies and daddies.
Dreams for boys and girls.
Dreams for animals big and small...
Dreams for all!

【The Ugly Duckling】

Mummy duck has got one...two...three...four...five...six...seven eggs!
Six little white eggs and...a big grey egg!
Crack!One little yellow duckling!
Crack!Crack!Two,three little yellow ducklings!
Crack!Crack!Crack!Fout,five,six little yellow ducklings!

'One,two,three,four,five,six little yellow ducklings,'says Mummy duck.
'But one egg is different.It's big!It's grey!'
CRACK!
'Mummy!He's big!'says a little duckling.
'Mummy!He's grey!'says another little duckling.
'Mummy!He's ugly!'says another little duckling.
'Yes,he's different,'says Mummy duck,'but he's your brother!'

Mummy duck and the seven little ducklings are at the pond.
SPLASH!SPLASH!SPLASH!
One,two,three little ducklings go into the water.
'QUACK!QUACK!QUACK!The water's lovely!'say the ducklings.
SPLASH!The big grey duckling goes into the water!
'QUACK!The water's lovely,'says the big grey duckling.

It's summer.
Mummy duck and the ducklings go to the farm.
'Hello,'says Mummy duck.'Here are my seven little ducklings'.
'No,NOT seven little ducklings!'says the old chicken.
'Six little yellow ducklings...and one big,grey,ugly duckling!'

'You're a big duckling!'says the cow.
'You're a grey duckling!'says the dog.
'You're a ugly duckling!'says the horse.
'You're a big,grey,ugly duckling!'says the cat.

'Ha!Ha!Ha!Look at the Ugly Duckling,'says a rabbit.
'Ugly Duckling,go away!'say the animals,'Ugly Duckling,go away!'

The Ugly Duckling is sad.
The Ugly Duckling goes away from the farm.
'Hello,'say the frogs.'Who are you?'

It's autumn.
The Ugly Duckling is sad and tired.
He goes into a house.
'Hello,old lady,'he says,'Hello,dog.Hello,cat.'
'Who are you?'says the old lady.
'I'm the Ugly Duckling,'says the Ugly Duckling.
'Oh!You're big!'says the old lady.
'Oh!You're grey!'says the dog.
'Oh!You're ugly!'says the cat.

It's winter.
The Ugly Duckling is cold and tired.
He goes into a farmhouse.
'He's ugly!'say the children.
'Yes,he's ugly.But he's cold and tired.'says the farmer.
'Let's give him some milk.'
'Let's play with the Ugly Duckling,'say the children.
'No!Let me go!'says the Ugly Duckling.
SPLASH!He goes into the milk!

The Ugly Duckling goes away.
He's very sad.
He goes to a river.
He hides.
He hides all winter.

It's spring.
'What a beautiful swan!'says a swan.
'A beautiful swan?...Where?'says the Ugly Duckling.
'You're the beautiful swan!'says another swan.
'No,I'm not a swan!I'm an ugly duckling!'says the Ugly Duckling.

'No,you're not an ugly duckling.You're a swan.A beautiful swan!'say the swans.'Look in the water!'
'Oh,yes!I'm a swan!'says the Ugly Duckling,'I'm a beautiful white swan!'

The Ugly Duckling isn't sad.
He's happy!
He isn't different.
He isn't grey.
And he isn't an ugly duckling!
He's a beautiful white swan!

【A Trip to the Safari Park】

It's a special day today.The children are very happy.There's a trip to the safari park!They are excited.They LOVE animals!

Mr Seboa:OK,children?Are you ready?Let's go!
Children:Yes,let's go,let's go,let's go!

Mr Seboa:Here we are.WOW!This is the safari park.It's great here! Hey, children, look! There are a lot of animals in the safari park.Look,there's a giraffe...

Mr Seboa:In the pond.There's a hippo.The hippo's very happy...it's got mud all over it!

Children:Where?
Mr Seboa:In the long grass.

It's great at the safari park!The children love the animals.The lion with a long mane,the hippo with mud all over it,the big elephant with a long trunk, the black and white zebra,the funny monkey with a long tail,the giraffe with a long neck and the beautiful kingfisher!

Mr Seboa:Come on,children!It's late now and it's time to go home.

【The Enormous Turnip】

Mr Johnson has got a big garden.
There are flowers and fruit trees in the garden.
There are vegetables under the trees.
Mr Johnson has got a seed.
It's a small turnip seed.
He puts the seed into the earth and goes to bed.

In the night the turnip grows and grows and grows.
It grows very, very big.
It's ENORMOUS!

In the morning Mr Johnson is in the garden.
He puts his hand on the enormous turnip.
'What a wonderful, enormous turnip!' he says.

Mr Johnson pulls the turnip but... nothing happens!
He pulls and he pulls.
But... nothing happens!

Mr Johnson calls his wife, Lizzie.
'Come here, Lizzie. Come and help me.

The enormous turnip comes out of the earth!

Mrs Johnson says, 'Come and help me cook this wonderful, enormous turnip!'
She goes into the house with Mr Johnson, her son Ben, her daughter Katie, her dog Pip, her cat Lola and the little white mouse.
Mr Johnson, Ben, Kitie, Pip, Lola and the little white mouse help Mrs Johnson cook the enormous turnip.
Mr Johnson, Mrs Johnson, Ben, Katie, Pip, Lola and the little white mouse eat the enormous turnip.
'Mmm! This turnip is delicious!' says everyone!
