Step1. Warming up
Greeting
⑴ How are you?
⑵ Where did you go last Sunday?
⑶ How did you go there?
⑷ What did you do there?
（设计意图：通过师生自由谈话，创设英语学习氛围，激发兴趣。并为新课学习做铺垫。）
Step2. Presentation
1. T: Look. Three years ago, I went to Beijing. Where is Beijing? (课件出示图片和地图)
学习单词：north （齐读、分组读）
学习句型：It’s in the north of China.
(同上方法讲授：Xinjiang---west Hainan---south Shanghai---east)
2. Look at the map.
Where is Ningxia/ Guangxi / Zhejiang/Xizang?
3. Let’s say a chant.
North, north. It’s in the north.
South, south. It’s in the south.
West, west. It’s in the west.
East, east. It’s in the east.
4. T: Look, where is it? (课件出示图片)
S: Yanan.
T: This is Yanan. It’s very beautiful. Our Chairman Mao lived there. I went there last year. (板书课题) I went there with my child. We visited lots of places. We stayed for a day. We were happy.
