Step2.Presentation 带to的动词不定式可以被放在句子中不同的部分。 一、作主语。 It is good to hand in homework on time. = To hand in homework on time is good. To plant trees every year is necessary. = It is necessary to plant trees every year. 二、作谓语。 My dream is to be a great football player. My purpose is to help you solve your problem. 三、作宾语。 I hope to hear from you soon. The boy promises not to be late for school again. 四、作宾语补语。 My parents do not allow me to go out after 6 p.m. Mr. Wu tells the students not to shout in class. 五、作表语。 Mr. Wu is always the last to leave. There is no need to trouble him. Have you got anything important to tell me? 六、作状语。 (1)表目的 He stayed there to see what would happen. She ran fast to catch the first bus. (2)表结果 Linda came back home to find her house on fire. The little baby has grown up to be a beautiful girl. 注意: 有的时候要省略to 1 在make, let, have 等表示使役的动词后面要省略to. 2 在两个to的不定式,用and连接的时候,如果前面有了to,那么第二个to要省略。 Try to understand these sentences. Read these sentences. To present the grammar points, and make sure they understand them. Step3.Practice 1. My home is always noisy. I cannot find a quiet place ____.(study) 2. I have no courage __(share) with my friends my worries. 3. To tell you the truth, sometimes I quarrel with my cousin Shirley. I hope she will not come _(disturb) me any more. 4. I hope my parents can spare some time for me every day. I need someone _____(talk) to at home. 5. _____(learn) dancing well, I need much more practice. 6. My parents care only about marks after exams. They do not seem ______(notice) that I have tried my best. Finish some exercises. To consolidate by doing some exercises. Step4.Presentation 我们可以用 wh-加to的不定式结构来表达,除了why。 Paul knows who to talk to for help. Simon does not know what to do. You should decide which to do first. Simon just forgot when to meet his friends. Sandy wants to know where to ask for advice. Millie does not know how to solve her problem. wh-特殊疑问词+to-infinitive相当于一个名词,可以在句子中充当宾语或主语; Try to remember and understand them. Step5.Oral practice 1 Ask the students to do some oral practice. e.g. Andy doesn’t know what to wear. Tommy can’t decide ________________. They don’t know _____ to the station. 2. Check the answer together. Look and say Make sure they understand them. Homework 1. Simon does not know what _____ (do). 2. Sandy wants to know where ______ (ask) for advice. 3. Millie does not know how _______ (solve) her problems. 4. Simon just forgot when ______ (meet) his friends. 5. You should decide when ____(work) and when ___(play). 6.
