【教学目标】
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇：countryside，feed，pick，friendly。
2.让学生了解更多表示农场生活的词汇。
3.让学生了解一些有关表示动作进行的句型。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些与农场生活有关的词汇：farm，beautiful，nice，quiet，fun。
2.激发学生兴趣，让学生学会介绍自己参观农
场的情况。
3.掌握以下重点句子：
①I like to feed the animals and pick vegetables and fruit.
②I’m afraid.Are the animals friendly?
③Don’t worry.
④Come on！We can feed the cows.

一、创设情境，切入主题
Step 1：Lead－in
Lead－in by discussing the following question：
What can you see on the farm？
Discuss in groups for three minutes.Then let some students present their answers in front of the class.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2：Listening
Listen to the tape and know about the main points of the dialogues.At the same time，fill in the blanks with the words you hear.
1.The countryside is________and________.
2.Li Ming and Jack________the cows on the farm.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3：Reading
Read the lesson and answer the following questions：
1.What does Li Ming like to do on the farm？
2.How are the cows eating？
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 4：Practice
Ask the students to write a note to introduce their visit to the farm.
Work in groups to finish the task.After a while，let some groups present their notes in front of the class.
When the students are preparing，the teacher can walk around the classroom to solve the problems that probably happen.
Step 5：Come to “Let’s Do It！”
Listen to the passage again，and ask the students to finish Exercise 1.Complete the words in Exercise 2 together.
Ask the students to finish Exercise 3 by themselves.
三、布置作业
Finish Exercise 4 in “Let’s Do It！”.
