1. Create the condition: Amy and Millie are chatting on the Internet. They want to go shopping tomorrow and are talking about where to o and what they want to eat for lunch.
2. Tell students that we can use “ Would rather …than…” to talk about personal hobbies. That is comparing other things, we like sth better. E.g.
I would rather sing than dance.
I would rather wear trousers than a skirt.
She would rather have noodles for breakfast than dumplings.
They would rather walk to school than take a bus .
