《Unit 5 Amazing things》 设计题目 7B Unit 5 Integrated skills 教学内容 The topic of this unit is “Amazing things”. In this “Integrated Skills” period, we will learn something about animals. The students will listen to the conversation, number the picture and complete the notes and the letter. And try to learn to talk about amazing things in the world . 教学对象 In this teaching period, teach students some skills about how to write down the information they need quickly and correctly, especially focus on the key words in the sentences. 教学目标 1. To get more information about some animals. 2. To finish different tasks with the information that has been got. 3. To learn to talk about amazing things in the world. 教学策略 1. Integrated applications and autonomous cooperative learning. 2. Know the meaning of expressions by showing the pictures 3. Improve the listening skills. 4. Ask Ss to talk about the animals. Present the pictures of the four animals. 1. Listen to the tape, and finish PartA1. 2. Listen to another tape and finish PartA2 3. Ask some questions. Ask Ss to complete the letter. Check the answers. Explain some language points. 1. Present the topic in Speak up. 2. Listen to the dialogue and answer the questions. 3. Read the dialogue after the tape. 4. Practice the dialogue in pairs, then act it out. Make up a new dialogue. 1. Do some exercises. 2. Check the answers. 1. Recite the dialogue in Part B. 2. Finish the exercises in the workbook. Ask and answer the questions in pairs. Say something about them. 1. Write the numbers 1-4 in the boxes. 2. Help Suzy complete her notes. 3. Answer the questions 1. Finish the letter. 2. Show the answers. 3. Read it aloud. 4. Ask some questions if they have problems. Listen to the tape. Read after the tape. Practice in pairs.
