Get students to make their own sentences with the words,preferably sentences that are meaningful.
Write a number of students’ answers for each word on the board.Underline any mistakes and ask students to suggest how to correct the mistake.

This week I talked with a very interesting man named Arnold Connor.He’s a baker and he loves his work!Mr Connor says he didn’t really decide to be a baker.It just happened.He says,“I needed a job I could do at night when I was at school.I saw an ad for a baker to work from midnight to 6 in the morning.So I did it.”
He made bread every night for two years while he finished high school.Then he went to a cooking school for a little over a year.He learned how to make all kinds of special cakes and pies and cookies.“I learned a lot,”says Mr Connor.Then he opened his own bakery here in the city.He’s been running Connor’s Cakes for six years and couldn’t be happier.“I love my work so much that I take it home with me every night,”he says,laughing.
