Tomorrow is another day
——after reading Gone with the Wind
If I am a man, I will fall in love with Scarlett too.
I will love her beauty, her exquisiteness to the whole world of men. I will appreciate her bravery, her loyalty to her family and people she loves. I will cherish her honesty, her practical thinking to the society and stubborn radicals around her.
She is a real person rather than only a character. I love her because she is not just as kind as Snow-White; she knows how to protect herself and her land. She lives to live; what’s more, she lives for herself. I am sorry that she didn’t realize her love towards Melanie and Rhett until they left; but she just comforted herself (also me) with a simple sentence “After all, tomorrow is another day.”
Tomorrow is another day and I am sure everything will be all right because I am Scarlet.

From the moment Rhett appeared, I have had a special feeling on the distinctive man who lives in defiance of conventions. I expect this man to turn up and enjoy every seemingly absurd word he said. His love is deep hided. He told Scarlett that he could not forget her wherever he went. So even though he left at the end of the novel, I believe that he will return to his lover one day because true love does not fade away.

Another person I admire is Melanie who believes and loves Scarlett and Rhett with all her heart. If you treat other people sincerely, at most time, nobody is hardhearted enough to hurt you or to betray you. What they want to do is just paying for you and protecting you from many cruel realities.

Margaret Mitchell took 10 years to give birth to these people. There is no doubt they are people alive though they only talk and play through book; but you can find many people who has familiar characters with Scarlett or Rhett or Melanie. Gone with the Wind is a condensed world. Love, enmity; appreciation, envy; honor, rumor——we all live in such a mass of feelings. We learn to adapt to it and control it step by step. At last we manage to enjoy it.
The only thing we should remember on the way towards future is “Never lose hope because tomorrow is another day.”
