一、教学目标
1、knowledge and skill objectives:
Can listen, read and speak “what, is, your, name, afternoon, Mr,please”。Can use the expressions “Good afternoon, What’s your name? I’m……”
2 ability objectives: can communicate with others by using the expressions “What’s your name? I’m……”
3、emotional objectives:
Arouse students’ study interests and develop their team emotion by using English in class.
二 、教学重点
运用所学句型“Good afternoon, What’s your name? I’m……”进行口语交际.
Teaching Difficult points:
Name和afternoon的发音。
三、教学难点
The pronunciation of “name and afternoon”.
四、课前准备
PPT, computer, tape-recorder, tape, cards
五、课时安排:一课时
六、教学过程
Step1 warming-up
1、 Sing the song “HELLO, HELLO”
2、Greetings
T:Good morning , boys and girls .
S:Good morning ,
T:How are you ?
S:I`m fine , thank you .And how are you ?
T:I`m fine ,too . Thank you .
(Divide the class into 2 groups to practice the sentences.)
Step2、Leading in
教师走到一个学生身边,对这个学生说:“Hello! Good morning!”学生回应后,教师接着问这位学生:“ Your name,please?”因为还没有学过这个句型及其回答,学生可能不会回答或回答不好,教师由此导入今天的学习任务:“今天我们来学习怎样询问他人的名字以及怎样回答。”
Step3、New text
1、show the words cards “what, is, your, name, afternoon, Mr”
教学生认读,并分层次训练、板书。接着出示课件,让学生形象直观的掌握“Good morning.”和“Good afternoon.”的区别,Mr与Ms的区别,同时教学生认读afternoon 、Mr、please。并分层次训练。
2、play the game “What’s missing?”
教师出示课件,课件上显示刚刚学过的单词,让学生先认一认,然后画面瞬间少一个单词,让学生猜猜是什么。
3、出示课件,让学生感知“What`s your name?”这个句型,和学生作一个例子,老师说: “Goodafternoon.I’m Ms Smart,”鼓励学生说出:“Good afternoon Ms Smart,”老师说:What’s your name?”学生必须说:“I’m Lingling.”

4、open the books
Listen to the tape of text and try to follow the tape by pointing the pictures.
Listen to the tape again and try to read the text by follow the tape. Pay attention to imitate the tape.
Read after the teacher sentence by sentence or phrase by phrase.
Students read the text by themselves.
Students read the text by role play.
5、出示课件,听录音,完成活动3。
Step4、Sing the song“GOOD MORNING,SAM”
listen to the tape first , then read the words of the song, then learn the song sentence by sentence, then sing the song. Finally sing the song by changing GOOD MORNING to GOOD AFTERNOON.
Step5、 Practice
1、“接龙”游戏
the first student say to the second student: “Good morning./Good afternoon.I’m……What’s your name? ”the second students use “Good morning./Good afternoon…… I’m…… ” to answer the first student……
2、“小记者”采访
邀请学生扮演“小记者”,调查了解其他同学的个人基本信息。老师可以先做示范,向一个学生提问,例如
T:Good afternoon.
S:Good afternoon.
T:What’s your name?
S:I’m…
T: How are you ?
S: I`m fine , thank you .And how are you ?
T: I`m fine ,too . Thank you .
T: Goodbye!
S: Bye-bye!
其后,请学生扮演“小记者”进行采访,鼓励学生在采访时提出尽可能多的问题(有的还能提出How old are you ?.....),最后评出“最佳小记者”和“最佳受访者”进行鼓励。
Step6 Homework
1、sing the song learnt today for family.
2、read the text for family.
3、make new friends by using the new expressions today.
