(他们正努力练习英语口语) (4)dare 表示“敢于”,用作情态动词时后跟动词原形,主要用于否定句和疑问句中。 e.g. in public.(我不敢在公众场合讲英语。) (5)be afraid of(doing) sth.与be afraid to do sth.都可表示“害怕”、“不敢” e.g. I into the swimming pool.
