000. GENERAL PROVISIONS
001. PREFACE
It is the intent of these specifications and accompanying plans to describe definitely the ship’s general, hull construction, outfitting, machinery and electric installation of a 73,000 DWT Product/crude oil Tanker. Which shall be designed in accordance with IMO new Regulations and suitable for carrying three (3) grades of product/crude oil in bulk. The flash point of these oil product to be below 600C.
Details in design, fabrication, installation, inspection and workmanship not covered in this Specification, or not covered by the approved plans, to be performed under the Standard practice of the Builder.
The Makers Liste following plans are is to be associated with this Specification and was aremutually agreed for reference and not for approval.

The general arrangement plan together with other drawings attached to the specification are for reference and not for approval.
Structure, equipment and installations specified or not specified in this Specification are subject to Owner’s comments and suggestion, and the final approval by the Classification Society.
Materials, machinery and equipment to be approved by Class as required and designed in accordance with the ISO and/or CB/GB standards, unless specifically agreed or stated herein.
All the materials, machineries, equipment, facilities, labour electric power, fuel oil, freshwater and seawater required to build, launch, outfit, trials, etc. shall be furnished by the builders at their expense excepting items specifically stated herein as to be furnished and supplied by the owner.
Anything twice or more mentioned or enumerated in this Specification is to be only supplied once or executed unless otherwise specifically mentioned.
It is to be understood that the descriptions in "General provisions" are to be applied to the whole of the subsequent parts of Hull, Outfitting, Accommodation Refrigeration, Ventilation, Air-conditioning, Machinery and Electric parts, whereas any subsequent part is not affecting others.
If there should be any inconsistencies or contradictions between the general provisions and Hull, Outfitting, Accommodation Refrigeration, Ventilation, Air-conditioning, Machinery and Electric parts, the general provisions is to have the preference unless otherwisely agreed by Owners and Builder.
If there should be any inconsistencies or contradictions between the general provisions and the associated plans, those Specifications are to have the preference unless otherwisely agreed by Owners and Builder.
If any inconsistencies are found among the Hull, Outfitting, Accommodation Refrigeration, Ventilation, Air-conditioning, Machinery and Electric parts, the description in the part that governs the installation or equipment will prevail.
All dimensions to be in ISO system unless where explicitly stated otherwise. Wherever the term “or equivalent” to be understood to mean that any substitute shall be of the equal performance standard and quality.
