Which is the worst clothes store in town? Dream Clothes . It’s worse than Blue Moon. It has the worst service.

2. 能够用形容词和副词最高级对周围的人或物进行比较。

教学过程
Step1 Revision
1. Recite 2d:Hi, I’m Greg. I’m new in town.
Welcome to the neighborhood! How do you like it so far? ….
2.复习形容词或副词的最高级形式：
new —— newest fresh —— freshest close —— closest
big —— biggest early —— earliest bad/badly —— the worst
这几个都是特殊变化的形式，需单独记忆
cheaply —— (the) most cheaply
carefully —— (the) most carefully
以 ly 结尾的副词的最高级都是在其前面加 (the) most; the可以不加。
Step2 New words:
1. Learn the new words: worse ,service, pretty, menu , act,meal movie theater,

Step3 Grammar Focus
Let the students read the sentences in the box and make sure they understand them. Pay attention to the use of the following sentences: Which is the worst clothes store in town? Dream Clothes . It’s worse than Blue Moon. It has the worst service.

3.bad / badly 的比较级，是不规则的比较形式，最高级形式是worst。
e.g. The red shoes are worse than the white one. 红色鞋子的质量比白色更差一些。
service n. 接待；服务e.g. Miller’s store has the best service. 米勒商店有最好的服务。

1. Let the students fill in the blanks in the box. Check the answers.
Step5 3b Think of three stores that sell similar things in your town and fill in the chart. Then write six sentences using the information in the chart.
Step6 3c Think of three restaurants for lunch near your home. Fill in the chart. Then talk in your group and choose the best one.
Talking：Danny’s is the best one because it’s the closest to my house. It has the most delicious food. It has good service, too.
