Lily Learns about China 教学目标 1. Master the important words and phrases. 2. Understand the meaning of text. 3. Learn to talk about preferences. 教学重点 Words and phrases, understand the text. 教学难点 Learn to talk about preferences. 教学方法 Listening, speaking, reading, writing and practice. 教学资源 Electronic whiteboard, Multimedia courseware, A recorder, PPT. 教学步骤 教师活动 学生活动 调整与思考 教 学 过 程 设 计 教 学 过 程 设 计 Step 1. Analysis of the student.(学生分析) 1. Homework check. 2. Review we learned, in last lesson. What did Danny do in the library? Where has Danny looked for Lisa? Step 2. Lead in.(引入) 1. Greet the students in English and make sure they can response correctly. Do the duty report: a student on duty can say whatever he/she likes to say. 2. Ask some Ss talk about the following questions: Have you learned about other countries in school? Which one is the most interesting? What foreign holidays do you know about? Then ask some Ss translate the title. Step 3. New lesson.(新课) No. 1 Prepare lessons before class. Teach the new words and phrases. Make sure the Ss can read it correctly. No. 2 Text: Give them some time to read the text themselves. Then let them act out the dialogue in groups. Correct their pronunciation when necessary. At last, the teacher explain the text in Chinese, make sure the Ss can understand the meaning of text. No. 3 Culture Tip In North America, Mother’s Day is the second Sunday of May. Father’s Day is the third Sunday of June. On Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, children say thank you to their parents. No. 4 Review grammar.现在完成时疑问句练习。 No.5 Important sentences. 1. We learned about different countries of the world. 2. Our teacher once worked in southern China. 3. A few days ago, our teacher took us to a Chinese grocery store and a Chinese restaurant. 4. On Mother’s Day and Father’s Day ,children say thank you to their parents. No. 6 Finish the practice “Let’s Do It!” Step 4. Play the tape for the Ss to follow. Make the Ss listen the text, then let them read follow the tape. Step 5.Summary. (小结) Sum up the text what we learned, the new words, phrases, and sentences. Sum up the grammar. Greet the students as usual and make sure they can response correctly. Ask the students to complete Let’s Do It! No.1 Make sure the Ss can read it correctly. Give the Ss chances to use the language they learnt in class and do something they like. Let the Ss know how to talk about the ways to protect our environment. 作 业 1.
