教学内容Unit 3 Language in use教材分析The unit is to check if the students can uses vocabulary and new words they learn in this unit to express what they want others to know.Task-based language learning would help the students use the vocabulary and sentence structure.教学目标To encourage students to share and express their thinking using what they have learned in this module.教学重点Task-based discussion and presentation设计思路Present a practical task for the students to learn English in use.教师活动学生活动教学流程1情景导入Ask students who know his / her parents birthday, what birthday presents they ever gave to their parents.Pre-task activity 1: Individual workStudents think about their parents birthday and what they have ever done to show their love to their parents.2知识新授Present the task of learning: try to think about what their parents like and what they would give to their parents as presents.Pre-task activity 2: Individual workGet familiar with the grammar on Page 52 and finish the exercise form Part 2 to Part 53情景操练Ask the students to work in groups of 5 or 6 to think about a special birthday present for their parents. The present should be: made by themselves; able to show their love; unique.
