Lesson 36　Let’s Go to the Movie Theatre!
【教学目标】
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇：movie，theatre，price，hero，save，airport，hotel，magic，fight。
2.让学生了解更多与介绍电影有关的用语。
3.让学生了解不同的电影形式。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些与电影介绍有关的词汇：movie，want，bike，take。
2.运用所学知识介绍自己所看的电影。
3.掌握以下重点句子：
①So Kung Fu Dinosaur travels to Beijing.
②He gets to the airport，but where can he find Panpan?
③So he takes the train to the zoo.
④At the zoo，Ku Fu Dinosaur fights the bad man.
⑤Watch the movie and find out!

一、创设情境，切入主题
Step 1：Lead－in
Lead－in by discussing the following questions：
1.What’s the film about？
2.Who gives Kung Fu Dinosaur a map？
Discuss the questions in groups.Divide the class into three or four groups to finish the task.After several minutes，let some students come to the front to show their results.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2：Listening
Listen to the tape and answer the following questions：
1.Who wants to hurt Panpan the Panda？
2.Where does Kung Fu Dinosaur find Panpan？
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3：Reading
Read the lesson and answer the following questions：
1.How does Kung Fu Dinosaur go to Wangfujing Street？
2.Who helps Kung Fu Dinosaur at the zoo？
Finish the task in class orally.
Read the lesson again，and then let the students retell the text in their own words.Ask some students to show in front of the class.
Step 4：Activities
Suppose you want to introduce your favourite film.Write a short note.
Finish the task in groups.Then after a few minutes，let some students show their notes in front of the class.
Step 5：Come to “Let’s Do It！”
Listen to the tape again and finish Exercise 1 together.Read the lesson again and put the sentences in the correct order in Exercise 2.
Ask the students to finish Exercise 3 by themselves.
三、布置作业
Finish Exercise 4 in “Let’s Do It！”.
