三、教学过程:
Step1 Revision
1.T presents some pictures about the animals like giraffes, snakes, camels, and ants etc.
2.Get students to introduce the characters of them: Can you tell me something amazing about these animals?
Step 2 Presentation
Simon collects some information about amazing things. Let’s have a look. T presents a picture of sandwiches and asks the following questions.
1. Do you like eating sandwiches?
2.Where did “sandwich” get its name from?
3.What did the man love doing?
4.How did he make a sandwich?
Step 3 Reading
1.Does your family have a TV? 2. How many TVs do you have? 3. When and Where was the first TV show? 4. How many TVs were in use per 100 Chinese families in 1987? How big can TVs be now?
Step4 Writing
1.Simon wrote an article about sandwiches. Ss read the passage. Get Ss to discuss the structure of the article.
2.Get Ss to talk about the amazing things they know in groups and list the information.
3. Ss write the passage according to the information and ask some of them to read in front of the class.
Step 5 Homework
1.Finish and correct the passage .
2. Remember the words , phrases and the important sentences.
