13、more time to work and play every day. give sb. sth.意思为“给某人某物”,此短语还可以改为give sth. to sb., 例如:give me the book = give the book to me; give your mother the present = give the present to your mother. 在more time to work and play中,to work and play为动词不定式作定语修饰time,例如the time to get up, something to eat, the
14、best way to learn English, a place to have fun等。2、知识点突破。1)would like to do sth.意思为“想干某事”,相当于want to do sth., 例如: I would like to work hard to achieve my dream. = I want to work hard to achieve my dream. They would like to go on an exciting trip. = They want to go on an exciting trip.另外,would like后面还
15、可以直接跟名词、代词作宾语。例如: What would you like? I would like an English dictionary. I would like some food to eat because I am very hungry. 2) help sb. (to) do sth. 意思为“帮助某人做某事”,其中的to可以省略。例如: We usually help these old women and men (to) clean their houses. V. 实践应用1、Speaking Which invention is the most useful? Why? Which invention is your favorite?
