Unit 2 Topic 1 教材 内容 分析 本课时是第二单元的第一话题的第四课时,主要是复习巩固有关身体病痛以及提出建议的表达法。主要活动是1,2部分。本课对话讲述了Michael受伤在家休息,同学们到家看望他的过程。对话巩固了本话题所学的提建议的几种说法:(1) You’d better/should (not) do sth. (2) Follow the doctor’s advice. (3) Don’t worry。同时呈现了一些新的短语:nothing serious, stay in bed, worry about, follow the doctor’s advice等。对话呈现了同学之间的友爱和关心。 教 学 目 标 一、教学目标: 1、单词:still , fruit , worry , advice. 2、短语:nothing serious, stay in bed, worry about, follow the doctor’ s advice等。 3、句子:(1) You’d better/should (not) do sth. (2) Follow the doctor’s advice. (3) Don’t worry。 4、复习巩固并能熟练地运用以下结构提建议: 1). should/ shouldn’t 2). had better/ had better not 3). Please do sth./ Please don’t do sth. 二、重点与难点 1、重点: 学会运用should/ shouldn’t ; had better/ had better not 等词对身体病痛或事故提出建议. 2、难点:本课动词短语nothing serious, stay in bed, worry about, follow the doctor’ s advice的运用。 学 情 分 析 本班学生英语水平整体较差,全班29位学生,绝大多数学生没有学习习惯,学习主动性较差。他们从来都没有参与过课堂活动,只有三个女学生能在课堂上和老师互动,其余学生对英语没有兴趣。 教学 资源 准备 多媒体、录音机 教 学 过 程 Step 1 Review 复习Section A-D四个部分所学的有关身体病痛及提出建议的英文表达。如 1、 有关病痛 1) 感冒:________________________ 2)发烧:________________________ 3) 咳嗽:________________________ 4)头痛:________________________ 5)牙痛:________________________ 6)背痛:________________________ 7)胃痛:________________________ 8)患流感:________________________ 2、提建议用语 You should/had better He/She should/had better You shouldn’t/ had better not He/She shouldn’t/ had better not 3、语境中运用 A:What’s wrong with him?/What’s the matter with him? B:He has a toothache. A:What should he do? B:He should/ had better go to see a dentist. etc. Step 2 Read and understand 1.Read 1 and mark T(True) or F(False). 1) Michael’s right leg still hurts when he moves it. ( ) 2) Michael’s friends brought some food and fruit for him. ( ) 3) Kangkang asked Michael not to move his leg too much. ( ) 4) Michael had better stay in bed and have a rest.
