Step1 warming up
Hello, Boys and girls. Today is Monday. We will learn a new unit. This is my sister. Do you still remember what we have learned. Before we start our new lesson. Let’s sing the ‘Bingo’ song together.
Step 2 Presentation(1a-1b)
1. Talk about photos of your family members and friends. Teach the name of family members and friends.
T: Look at my family photo. This is my father. use same way to teach the other names of family members and friends.
2. Encourage students to point to each word in activity 1a. Read and question the meanings of the words. Then match words with the people in the pictures.
3. Listening
Play the tape for the students several times. Let students at the picture in activity 1a and circle the people they talk about.
Step 3 Practice
1. Let students take out their family photo. Work in group. Have them take two as talking about their family members.
Encourage students to introduce their family members
Step 4 Listening drills (2)
1. Do Section A, 2a. Listen and circle each name of a family member they hear in the conversation..
2. Do Section A, 2b. Listen again, match the letters next to the people in the picture to the correct names in the box. Check the answers.
If time permits, pratice the conversation in 2a. First the teacher say the key words of one sentence, and the students respond the corresponding sentence. This is easy for them to do. Then listen again and ask them to try to remember the conversation. Fill in the blanks.
Step 5 Pair-work.
A: Who is she?
B: She is Cindy.
A: Who is he?
B: He’s her father.
Step 6 Homework
1. Remember the new words in this class.
2. Make a new conversation.
看照片,学单词。
跟读单词。
听录音,完成1a。
介绍自己的家庭成员。
复习学过的单词。
听录音,完成2a和2b。
两人一组,进行对话练习。
通过展示家庭成员的照片,学习词汇。
通过观察图片和听录音,完成1a的练习。
