教材分析:
本课时是8A第一单元综合技能课,学生在前面几个课时的学习的基础上,粗略了解了如何介绍自己的朋友。在前面几个课时中已经对朋友的外貌和爱好等等进行了学习。这节课的目的是在学习介绍朋友时的计划未来的打算。通过本课的学习,我们应该为本单元的Main Task 书面表达的学习作好有力的铺垫。

Step 1 Warm-up
T: Who is he ? Can you describe him?
T: Would you like to be another Jack Chen? Why?
Step 2 Free Talk
What does … like doing? What would … like to do in the future?
Step 3 Listening
T: Millie is talking to Amy about her future plans. Can you find out what she would like to do in the future? You can listen to their conversation and put a 'Smile face' in the correct boxes in the table.

Step 4 Discussion
T: .Discuss with your partner 'What is Millie like?' and 'What does she want to do?'

Task 1 Suppose you are Millie. A reporter from NJTV is interviewing you. Please make a dialogue with your partner, talking about your future plan.

Task 2 Practice in pairs, talking about their appearance and their own plans

Step 9 Story telling
Ask two Ss to repeat the story, and find out which parts are different.

Step 3 Reading
T: Ask Ss to write down the keywords which refer to the most important information
