Step 1 Revision
1. Revision and dictation of the new words
2. Revise the drills they learned yesterday.(by pair work and grammar
exercise) To check the students if they can master the new words about different
countries.
Step 2 Leading-in
T has a conversation with one student. The conversation is following:
---How’s the weather ji Beijing? ---It’s sunny.
---What are you doing?
---I am looking at the picture.
To improve the ability of the Ss’ speaking.
Step 3 Learn the new sentences with the whole class. Practice the
dialogue.
---What is he doing? ---He is cooking.
To improve the ability of the Ss’ speaking.
Step 4 Work on 3a
1.Write sentences following the examples.
2.Check Ss’ answers.
3.区别一般现在时与现在进行时。.
Step 5 Work on 3b
1.Number the sentences in order to make a telephone conversation. Then practice it with a partner.
2.Have Ss check their answers in groups. Then ask some groups to present their answers to the class.
Step 6 Work on 3c Have Ss get into groups.
Ask them to take turns miming different activities in their groups. The others in the group are to guess what the activities are.
