I. Warming up.
Look at the slides. Ask them to talk about the activity they often do. Then work in pairs, using as many how often– questions as possible.
II. Presentation.
1a Looking and matching
Ask them to turn to page 4. and look at the pictures first. then match each word with a picture by writing a letter on the line in front of the correct word.
1b Pairing and speaking
Say:Do you often talk about the food with your classmates? Now work with a partner, and make your own conversation out of the words in activity 1a as done in the following. Then report it to the class.
III. Listening and circling
1. Ask them to hear a reporter interviewing two people, Katrina and Bill. Before listening, tell the teacher what being healthy is. Say: If I never exercise and never eat any junk food, am I healthy?
2. listen to the recording and decide if Bill and Katrina are healthy. Circle their answers to each question. The first time, they only listen. The second time, circle Yes, No, or I don't know.
3. ask them to read the conversation and underline all the useful expressions.
4. 2b Listening and filling
They have got to know about Katrina and Bill’s health. Listen again and fill in the blanks in the survey about how often they do the things.
IV. Ask them to work with their partner. Student A is the interviewer Student B is Katrina. Ask and answer questions. Then change roles. Student A will be Bill, and Student B will be the interviewer. Ask and answer, using as many wh-questions as possible.
V. Homework.

Today we have listened to a passage about life styles. We should learn to ask questions by using “how often” and “when” “what”.
