Step 1: Revision
1. Ask the students to hand in their homework. Show the pictures to them and let them guess who he/she is.
2. Get one or two students to read the profiles.
Step 2: Presentation& practice
1. Show them the pictures of the six students in this unit. Ask something about them:＂name, age, birthday, hobby＂and etc. If they can’t answer the questions, ask them to open their books.
2. Review the vocabulary about sports and equipment.
3. Review something about integrated skills.
4. Ask the students to group the words on page 21Part B. Check the answers and ask them to write down their scores on the paws.
Add some words and remind them how to learn and remember the new words from now on.
Step 3: Grammar
Ask them to tell something about the simple present tense, write down to be/to do on the blackboard. Analysis how to use ＂to be＂and＂to do＂.
