Grammar: verb + infinitive with to Step 3 Exercise 1. Write sentences. 2. Underline the correct words in Activity 2. Step 4 Work in pairs. Role-play the conversation between Katy and Samantha in Activity 2. Step 5 Exercise 1. Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in the box. 2. Match the two parts of the sentences in Activity 5. 3. Put the words in the correct place in each sentence. 4. Play a class game. Read the beginnings of the sentences and think of an ending for each one. Use to and a verb. How many different sentences can you make? Step 6 Listening 1. Listen and answer the questions in Activity 8. 2. Wb. Ex. 7, 8 & 9. Step 7 Exercise Complete the passage with the correct form of the words and expressions in the box in Activity 9. Step 8 Around the world: Animals in danger. 1. Read through the information with the whole class. 2. Discuss the details with the students. Step 9 Module task: Writing about animals in danger 1. Work in small groups. Decide which animal you want to write about. You might want to do more research before you decide. Find out about the animal. Find these things: 2. Write one or two short paragraphs about it. Look at the paragraphs in Unit 2, Activity 2 to give you some idea. 3. Read and explain your paragraph(s) to the class. Answer the questions they may have. Step 10 Homework Finish the exercise in the workbook Ex. 11 & 12.
