一. Teaching aims:
1. To teach students to learn new words and phrases: full,swing,swing dance,maybe, at least,once a month,twice a week
2. To teach students to to ask and answer wh –questions: How often…? What?

Step 1: Leading in:Have a talk (2mins)
Teacher asks students some questions about weekends..

Step 2: Work on 2d ( 8mins)
1. Play the recording and have students to read after it, then answer some questions.
T: Look at this picture. The boy’s name is Jim, the girl’s name is Claire. Jim asks Claire some questions.Let’s listen and try to read after the tape. After that, please answer the following questions.
(1) Why isn’t Claire free next week?
(2.)How often does Claire have dance lessons? What about her piano lessons?
(3)What kind of dance is Claire learning?
(4)What does Claire do on Tuesday?
2. Role play the conversation.

Step 3: Summarize the grammar: 复习一般现在时态 (14 mins)
1. Have students to discuss the example sentences then find out the answers to the questions in their exercise paper.
2. Teacher corrects mistakes if needed.
3. Do some exercise in their exercise paper to consolidate the grammar

Step 4: Work on 3a and 3b . (6 mins)
1.Have students to finish 3a and 3b individually.
2.Have students to check the answer in groups by asking and answering.
3. Checks the answer together .
Step 5: Work on 3c. (8 mins)
Hold an Interview . Let’s talk about how to improve our English.Then ask your classmates the questions and find the best English students.
