三、 教材分析
人教版教材充分体现新课改的指导思想，其对话编排几乎都是从生活实际需要出发，生活气息浓厚，让学生能掌握生活中基本的常识交流，发展他们自主学习的能力，形成有效的学习策略，把任务型教学与参与式教学模式融为一体。本节课学习动物的单词及表述喜欢的原因，教学中的各项活动都围绕动物展开。学生们运用英语简单描述自己喜欢的动物，进一步培养和激发他们热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀。
四、 学情分析
经过一个多学期的中学英语学习生活，学生们已经学过由why, where, what 引导的特殊疑问句，具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提。许多有关动物的信息能激发他们的好奇心，产生了解它们的强烈欲望，有利于本课的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。
五、教学策略
1、运用参与式教学模式，培养学生语言的综合运用能力，实现目标， 感受成功，教学进程整体掌控，教学形式灵活多样，不拘一格。
2、课堂以学生为主体，以课中为主线，学习、互动与交流渗透其中，重视体验参与，教师起“设计者、研究者、促进者、协调者”的作用。
3、在教学中，突出交际性，注重读写的实用性，注重情感和策略的调整。
六、教学目标：
1、语言知识目标：

a. 使学生熟练谈论自己喜爱的动物并给出理由。

3、学习策略目标:学会调动已有知识,根据情景推测句子含义.

a.培养学生热爱动物、自觉保护动物的意识。
b.能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，发扬协作精神。
5、文化意识目标:了解各种动物的特性。

a.熟练用一些动物的词汇谈论自己最喜欢的动物。
b.熟练运用动物特点的形容词谈论喜欢某一种动物的原因。

a.表达动物的的词义和读音。

2. Learn words of adj
Show the pictures of cute, lazy, smart, beautiful and scary things.
Point to the picture of a panda and say “The panda is cute...”
3. Test your memory

十一、 教学反思
本单元的中心话题是描述动物以及对他们说的喜好和喜好的原因。在教学中，我采用了三步五段式教学模式，调动了学生主动学习、积极参与教学活动的积极性。教学设计中的三步（before class课前、while class课中、after class课后）牢牢地把学生牵在了手中。把学生引向了英语学习途中，使学生学会学习，互学排除障碍，测学检验了学习成果，思学得出了所学，既有中考链接，又有知识梳理。小组间的PK既活跃了课堂气氛又激发了学习兴趣，为听力做好了铺垫。pairwork和groupwork,是恰如其分的输出。课堂环环紧扣，培养了学生语言的运用能力，学生能谈论自己或他人对动物的喜爱和喜爱的原因。突出了学生的主体的地位。表现了较强的团队精神。但在学习中还需要加大写的训练力度和拓展练习；在语言运用上还应扩宽思路，使学生们储备足够的词汇等，为他们今后的进一步提升学习层次铺平道路。
