旁白: It was Chrismas Eve, a cold winter day, happy for some people, but nearly a nightmare for some poor little things. Among them, was a little girl. Now she’s coming.
Girl: Oh, what a cold day! Matches, matches, who want some matches? Sir, would you buy some matches?
（路人甲）Voice1:Oh, no, no.
Girl: Merry Chrismas, , Madam. Do you want some matches? They’re cheap.
（路人乙）Woman1: Don’t waste the time. Let’s go.
Girl: Matches! Matches! Oh, please buy some…
(一个粗鲁的男人经过)
Voice2: Oh, shit! Get away!
Girl: (伤心的) Oh, how can I do? Father will not let me go home if I haven’t sold even one match. How can I do?
(她滑亮了一根火柴，照在墙上)
旁白: The bright match light brightened the girl’s face and warm her heart. In the wonderful moment, she began to dream..

Girl: How warm and beautiful.（随着音乐一起跳舞）

旁白: Just then, And the fire dissapare（消失）.
Girl: Please don’t！Don’t leave me! (滑亮了另一根火柴)
旁白: She struches a new match, and something wonderful happened.
一个大家庭: (一起唱歌) We wish you a merry Chrismas. We wish you a merry Chrismas. We wish you a merry Chrismas and a happy new year.(say to the girl) Merry Chrismas.
Girl: Thank you.
Mum: Come on, dinner is ready.
Children: We are coming.
Mum and Dad: Help yourself to some roast goose（鹅）.
旁白: She was just ready to have the delicious chicken when the blaze went out again.
Girl: Don’t go! Don’t leave me alone. I’m hungry. I’m hugry and cold. (她滑亮了所以的火柴，一个天使出现了)
天使: My little girl, make a wish please. It will come true
Girl: I miss my grandma, I want my grandma, please help me.
天使: Look, she’s coming.
Girl: Grandma?
奶奶: My poor little girl!
Girl: Grandma, grandma, it’s you. Take me away! Please! Take me away. I’m so cold, so hungry, so lonely. I need you. Take me away!
