V 教学步骤
一、warming- up
（1）Show pictures of different places in a city. (e.g. cinema bookshop bank stadium bus station restaurant museum …) And then ask students to say them out.
（2） Show a map about Renshan. Ask students “Excuse me！where is the …”
Introduce “ walk along and turn left.” And then ask students to make dialogues by themselves. (练习方位介词，为听力做准备)

2. 指路的常用表达方式

3. go across 穿过，指从物体表面穿过。
（此处的 go across = cross , 前者across是介词，而后面的cross是动词。）
go through 穿过，指从物体的中间穿过。
go along 沿着
e.g.: 1. Be careful when you go across the street.
2. It took us two hours to walk through the forest.
3. Go along the street, and you will find the bank.
4. … opposite the bank. 此处的opposite用作介词
e. g. : My home is opposite the bank.

take作V By bus/taxi by作prep
1）我搭公车去学校。
I go to school by bus=I take a bus to school.
2）她乘坐出租车回家。
She goes home by taxi=She takes a taxi to her home.
6. turn left/right (into) … 向左/右转(进入)
e.g.: Turn left, and you’ll find the hospital.
turn left/turn right向左/右转;
on the left/on the right of... 在……的左边/右边;
on one’s left/right 在某人的左边/右边;
