要求学生阅读短文作为学习新课前的小比赛，既复习了旧知，也调节了气氛。

解释happy，sad是一对反义词。

听音正音的环节能够让学生更多的纠正自己错误的发音。

1. 找五个学生上台表演6种表情，男女分组竞赛，看谁回答的多。

2. Pair work：
教师给学生半分钟时间看Pair work部分的图画，提示学生尽量记住图中的人物及其表情，然后两人一组一问一答。此活动也可以在三人或四人小组中进行，比一比谁能猜得又对又快。

“请你猜”活动：
教师做出各种表情，请学生仔细看图片。
教师提问： How does Amy feel?
She’s tired.
How does John feel?
He is angry
此活动也可在小组之间进行，鼓励学生参与。
活动之后请几组学生来做问答，检测活动效果。
