Unit 4 What are you doing
第一课时
教学目标：
1、能够听、说，读，写动词短语ing的形式：drawing pictures, doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, answering the phone .
2、能运用句子“What are you doing ? I’m doing the dishes /….”询问别人正在做什么并作答。
3、通过说唱Let’s chant部分的歌谣巩固复习Let’s learn部分的动词短语和句子。
教学重难点：
教学重点：把握五个动词短语ing的形式，能够理解和运用主要句型：“What are you doing ? I’m doing the dishes /….”
教学难点：动词ing形式的读音。
教学准备：动词短语卡片、图片、语音教具。
教学设计：
一、 热身（Warming-up）
1、问候。
2、教师运用句型：What can you do ?和学生进行口语交际。
二、新课呈现（Presentation）
Let’s learn
1、 教师拿出一张画有小鱼的图片，说：I can draw a fish. Now, I am drawing a flower. 边说边在黑板上画一朵小花。引出短语：drawing pictures, 用颜色粉笔标出ing。
2、 教师拿出do the dishes的卡片，让学生读出短语。教师边做洗碗的动作，边对学生说：I’m doing the dishes.板书doing the dishes。师指着板书，提问学生：What are you doing ?并引导学生回答。
3、 教师做做饭的动作，边提问学生：What am I doing ?引导学生回答：You are cooking dinner.板书cooking dinner。师带领学生拼读单词。
4、 同法教学短语reading a book, answering the phone。
5、 教师播放录音内容，学生跟读单词。
6、 指名读单词。
7、 教师快速呈现短语卡片，让学生猜出卡片内容。
三、练习（Practice）
1、Let’s chant
教师播放该部分录音，师生齐唱歌谣。
2、游戏：
（1）出示图片，用句型What are you doing ?提问学生。
（2）传盒子
做“听音乐传盒子”的游戏，教师把drawing pictures, doing the dishes, cooking dinner, answering the phone, reading a book 等词条折叠后放进一个盒子里。音乐开始，学生按顺序传递盒子。音乐一停，拿到盒子的学生在盒子中抽取一张词条，教师引导其他学生提问：What are you doing? 抽到词条的学生根据词条上的短语边做动作边回答：I am …. 教师播放的音乐可以是本课时歌曲What Are You Doing?
3、Let’s play
小组内完成Let’s play，利用What are you doing?来询问并完成表格。教师巡视指导。
四、课堂小结（Conclusion）
本课时的主要任务是让学生了解现在进行时的概念，并通过适当的动作引导学生理解其含义。
五、作业（Homework）
1、将今天所学的短语读给爸爸妈妈，或是爷爷奶奶听。
2、抄写短语，每个三遍。
