一、教学目标 
1、能够听、说、读、写“cleam my room, go for a walk, go shopping, take a dancing class”四个短语。
2、能够借助主句型-“What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays/on the weekend? -I always/usually/often/sometimes…”,正确运用四个短语来描述日常活动。
3、能够运用动词短语和频率副词描述自己的周末活动
（二）难点 
1. 新词汇和新词组的学习。 
2. 能灵活运用所学句型介绍自己的周末活动。 
三、教学准备 
多媒体课件、课文情景动画、音频MP3。  
四、教学过程 
（一）Warming-up 
Greeting like this:
 T: Hello，boys and girls，How are you today?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine,too. Do you like weekends?
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: We can do many fun things on the weekend. Let’s watch the video.
After that, ask and answer like this: -“What do you do on the weekend?-
I often…”Show the phrases on the blackborad and chant.

 (二）Presentation 
  After singing the song, show the pictures and learn the new phrases “wash my clothes, watch TV , read books, do homework, play football, students listen and repeat. 
Next play the game “Which is missing?” Students show the pictures twice, students remember them. Then make the pictures disappear one by one, students guess which one disappeared. 
Then show the picture and show the key sentences:“ Do you often wash your clothes on the weekend? Yes, I do. Do you often watch TV on the weekend? No, I don’t.” Students listen and repeat. 
After that, play a game. Teacher stir the big wheel, students ask and answer using the key sentences: 
“Do you often…on the weekend? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.”
 (三) Practice 
Students finish the tasks in group: 
1. Ask and answer with their partner using the key sentences: “Do you often…on the weekend? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.” 
2. Make up a dialogue with their partner: 
A: Do you often … on the weekend? 
B: No, I don’t. 
A: What do you often do on the weekend? 
B: I often… on the weekend. What about you? 
A: I often…  
（四） Consolidation & Extension  
 Students design their weekend plan, then make a composition according to their plan. 
（五） Summary  
师生一起总结本节课所学的词汇和句型，说说本节课的重难点，教师评价学生的表现。 
（六） Homework  
1. 将本节课学习的新单词和词组在四线三格内抄写五遍, 
3. 跟读Part B Let’s learn部分的动画或音频，跟读两遍，并预习talk部分。
