Play the tape once and ask the ss to put the items of the pictures in order. 3. Check the answer. Step2 Reading Before Reading 1. Ask ss to say out some symptoms of having a cold. 2. Show some pictures and phrases of different illness. 3. Ask the ss to say out what illness the teacher acts. 4. Ask ss to complete the table. 5. Ask ss to give some advice according to different illness. While Reading 1. play the tape once and ask the ss to listen to the three people talking to their doctor abut their illness and find out what their problem. 2. Play again and ask the ss to tick . Post- Reading 1. Ask ss to read listening material with the tape. 2. Ask ss to practice reading one dialogue . 3. Ask the ss find out the sentences according to chinese meaning in the listening materials 4. Conclude the sentences doctors often use when seeing a doctor. 5. Ask the ss to make up a new dialogue . Step 3 Homework Ask the students to read the text carefully and figure out the language points in the text. Greet with the teacher. Learn the phrases put the items of the pictures in order. Learn new phrases Say out what illness the teacher acts. Complete the table Give some advice according to Listen and find out what the problem are in the dialogue Listen and tick.
