New words and expressions: do, does, have, has, tennis, soccer, volleyball, basketball, ping-pong bat New sentence structures: - Do you have a soccer ball? - Does she have a tennis ball? - Yes, I do. – Yes, she does. No, I don’t. I have a volleyball. No, she doesn’t. She has a baseball. Teaching methods: Multi-media. Teaching Steps: (Enjoy the video. Then, the teacher can ask, “Do you have a pet?”) Step1: Greetings Good morning, boys and girls. I’m Emma. Step2: Warm up (New words) Present the new words Show the pictures first, then ask,“What’s this?” (Pay attention to the monogram. Read the new words with the help of the phonetics. ) Practice the new words T: I have many sports things. Guess! What is it? Ss: Is it a/ an …? Step3: Lead-in (New sentence structures) (T: I like sports. Do you like sports? ) T: I have a/an … (What about you?) Listen and match (2a\2b) tennis ball basketball soccer ball volleyball 2. Listen and fill in the blanks: Conversation 1: Paul doesn’t have a soccer ball. But Alan _____ one.
