Unit 1 We’ve got lots of apples 课型:Listening and speaking 方法:Bottom-up approach to listening Teaching Aims and Demands: 1. Language Knowledge Key vocabulary: healthy, orange, drink, fruit, vegetable, beef, carrot, chicken, juice, melon, milk, onion, pork, potato, tomato, Key structure: have/has got 2. Listening skill: To understand conversations involving food and drink in listening. Improve the students’ listening ability. To talk about food Teaching Aids: Multi-Media or Tape recorder Teaching Procedures: Step 1 warming up T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Let me ask you some questions about you, OK? Let students answer these questions: Have you got a big family or a small family? Have you got any brothers or sisters? What’s your favourite food/drink/fruit? Ss: list the food they have learnt. 设计意图: 复习学过的have got句型和表示食物的单词,从学生已知内容入手,利用学生已有的认知水平引入新课,主要为下一步教学单词及物品归类做准备工作。 Step 2 Food and drink 1. Show the Ss some pictures to learn the new words 2. Label the food in the pictures with these words “fruit” “meat” “vegetables” “drink”. Let students talk about it in groups of four. 3. Check the answers with Ss. 设计意图: 在学生预习的基础上呈现新单词,引导学生通过个人思考或小组讨论来解决问题,以便巩固新学的知识,在教学中注重了学生的个体差异。 Step 3 Listen and find the food Read the words together first . The teacher says, I’ll tell you something about Betty. Betty is going to have a big family lunch tomorrow. Let’s listen to the tape and find what they have got and what they haven’t got. Let the Ss complete Ex.1. Exercise1 Listen and find the food and drink they have got (√)and they haven’t got.(ⅹ) oranges 口 beef 口 onions 口 apples 口 pork 口 carrots 口 melons 口 tomatoes 口 milk 口 chicken 口 potatoes 口 juice 口 Call back the answers from the whole class, have one student answer a question. For example, Have they got any oranges? (Yes, they have.) Pair the class to ask and answer the questions about what they have /haven’t got. Complete Ex.2. Exercise2 Pairwork: A: Have they got any …? B:Yes, they have got some …/ No, they haven’t got any… 设计意图: 运用任务型教学模式,创设英语情境,让学生在较为真实地运用中,学会使用语言,即引导学生在用中学。 Step 4 Listen Betty’s friend Daming is coming for dinner. Let’s listen to the tape and complete Ex.3. Listen and underline the correct answers. And check the answers. Exercise3 Listen and underline the correct answers. 1)They’ve got some juice / milk. 2)They haven’t got any carrots / meat. 3)Have they got any melons? Yes, they have. / No, they haven’t. 4)Have they got any apples? Yes, they have. / No, they haven’t. 2. Ask :What have they got for dinner? What haven’t they got for dinner? Let’s listen and complete the table. Complete Ex.4 and check the answer. Exercise4 Listen again and complete the chart. have got haven’t got 3. Act out the dialogue if they have time. 设计意图: 常规听力练习中进一步提高学生听的能力。充足的输入,更有利于学生进行目标语言的输出。 Step 5 Task Suppose( 假如) a friend is coming for dinner. You and your family(家人) are talking about the food and drink. Make a dialogue like these: A: Mum, … is coming for dinner. Have we got any…? B: Yes, we have got some… A: Have we got any… B: No, we haven’t. But we have got… … … A: Thanks, mum. 设计意图: 通过这一个环节可以进一步提高学生的综合运用语言的能力。 Homework 1. Copy the new words. 2. Write down the dialogue they have made. 设计意图: 将新学得的词汇运用与句子中,引导学生在用中学。 教学反思: 本节课精心设计了课堂教学活动,注重了创设较为真实的语言情境,教学过程中做到了将新学得的词汇运用与句子中,引导学生在用中学,学中用,突出了学生的主体地位,激发了学生学习英语的热情,这样的教学才是有效的教学。
